It is with good reason why lavender oil is one of the most favorite essential oils, as it has wonderful qualities and also smells great. It is a calming, relaxing oil, which combats stress and crisis, while the antiseptic properties helps with cold, flu and other ailments. It is excellent for asthma and migraines. On the skin, lavender oil tones and revitalizes and it is useful for all types of skin problems such as abscesses, acne, oily skin, boils, burns, sunburn, wounds, psoriasis, lice, insect bites, stings and also acts as an insect repellent.

The oils used all provide their own benefits in skin care.

Jojoba is a great all round massage oil (wax).

When used as a massage medium, it acts as an emulsifier with the skin's natural sebum and gently unclogs the pores and lifts grime and imbedded impurities.

It contains myristic acid which also has anti-inflammatory actions and since it has a similar in composition to that of the skin's own oils, it is quickly absorbed and is excellent for dry and mature skins as well as inflamed conditions.

Olive Oil contains good levels of essential fatty acids and alpha linolenic acid.

Applied externally it is useful for dehydrated, sore and inflamed skin and is also used as a remedy for arthritis when rubbed onto the affected parts.

Kukui  Oil - very thin, very light , quickly absorbed into the skin. Very expensive. Kukui oil has been used by natives of Hawaii for hundreds of years. They recognized the oil's high penetrability and soothing properties and currently use to sooth sunburns and chapped skin. contains very high levels of the essential fatty acids linoleic and alpha-linolenic. This oil is readily absorbed into the skin, providing tissues the essential elements that it needs and is particularly good for dry skin, psoriasis, acne and eczema.

Hemp Seed Oil is being called "Nature’s most perfectly balanced oil". It is an excellent skin moisturizer and has anti-inflammatory effects.
